A new acquisition at the museum is this iconic AA badge, originally belonging to a local man from Higham Ferrers.  He travelled by car to various destinations in England helped on his way by the bespoke printed AA route planner. 1950’s Bassett-Lowke tool maker and model engineer Walter Newcombe worked at the Bassett-Lowke model engineers in Northampton during the 50’s/60’s.
